Parents Code of Conduct

As a parent or guardian of a player in our Baseball and Softball programs, you play a crucial role in creating a positive and supportive environment for your child and all participants. To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Support and Encouragement: Offer positive support and encouragement to your child, their teammates, and all players. Celebrate their efforts and achievements, regardless of the outcome of the game.
     
  2. Respect for Coaches and Officials: Show respect towards coaches, officials, and league volunteers. Understand that they are working to provide a positive experience for your child and all participants. Avoid criticizing their decisions or conduct.
     
  3. Respect for Other Parents: Treat other parents and spectators with respect and courtesy. Avoid engaging in negative or disruptive behavior that could affect the enjoyment of others.
     
  4. Focus on the Player's Experience: Remember that sports are for the enjoyment and development of the players. Support your child’s involvement by encouraging their growth, effort, and enjoyment of the game, rather than focusing solely on winning.
     
  5. Adherence to Rules and Policies: Follow all league rules and policies, including those related to game and practice schedules, safety guidelines, and behavior expectations. Ensure that your child adheres to the league’s Code of Conduct as well.
     
  6. Positive Communication: Communicate with coaches and league officials constructively and respectfully. Address any concerns or issues through appropriate channels, and avoid confrontations during games or practices.
     
  7. Respect for Facilities: Help maintain the cleanliness and condition of facilities and equipment. Encourage your child and others to respect the property and clean up after themselves.
     
  8. Promote Sportsmanship: Model good sportsmanship by demonstrating respect, integrity, and fairness. Encourage your child to exhibit the same values both on and off the field.
     
  9. Encourage Fair Play: Support the principle of fair play and ensure that your child understands the importance of following the rules and playing with honesty.

Managers & Coaches Code of Conduct

As a manager or coach in our Baseball and Softball programs, you are a key figure in shaping the experience and development of our players. Your leadership, behavior, and attitudes set the tone for the team and the entire league. To ensure a positive and productive environment, we ask that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Prioritize Player Development: Focus on the development and well-being of each player. Encourage skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Provide constructive feedback and support individual growth.
     
  2. Model Good Sportsmanship: Demonstrate respect, integrity, and fairness in all interactions. Model good sportsmanship and encourage players to do the same, both on and off the field.
     
  3. Respect for Players: Treat all players with respect and kindness. Address their needs and concerns with empathy and fairness, and ensure that every player feels valued and included.
     
  4. Respect for Officials and Opponents: Show respect towards game officials, opponents, and their coaches. Accept their decisions with grace and encourage players to respect all participants.
     
  5. Positive Communication: Communicate in a positive, professional manner. Address any conflicts or concerns with players, parents, and officials through appropriate channels and in a respectful manner.
     
  6. Adherence to Rules and Policies: Follow all league rules, policies, and guidelines. Ensure that players and parents are also aware of and adhere to these rules.
     
  7. Safety and Well-Being: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all players. Enforce and follow all safety guidelines, ensure that equipment is properly maintained, and address any safety concerns immediately.

Players Code of Conduct

As a player in our Baseball and Softball programs, you are a representative of our league and a role model for your teammates and the community. To ensure a positive, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that you adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Respect for Others: Treat all players, coaches, officials, and spectators with respect and courtesy. Show good sportsmanship, regardless of the outcome of the game.
     
  2. Commitment to Teamwork: Support and encourage your teammates. Work together to achieve team goals and demonstrate a positive attitude both on and off the field.
     
  3. Effort and Attitude: Give your best effort during practices and games. Approach every practice and game with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve.
     
  4. Respect for Rules: Follow all game rules, league guidelines, and instructions from coaches and officials. Play fairly and ethically, and accept decisions made by umpires.
     
  5. Safety First: Prioritize safety by using proper equipment and following safety guidelines. Report any injuries or safety concerns to your coach immediately.
     
  6. Responsibility: Arrive on time for practices and games, and be prepared with the necessary equipment and attire. Communicate with your coach if you are unable to attend a practice or game.
